Privacy Notice (KVKK)

Under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), this notice explains how your personal data is processed when you visit haloherd.haloscape.health and fill in the contact form. This is an informational translation; the Turkish text is authoritative.

We do not ask for any special-category personal data, including health data, in the form; please do not include it in the message field either.
Animal records (ear tag number, health event, milk yield) are not personal data. However, if a business ID is tied to a real person, that ID is treated and protected as personal data.
3. Purposes and legal grounds

We do not use your data to send marketing electronic messages. If we ever want to send a newsletter or campaign message, we will ask for your separate, explicit consent first.
4. Transfer of personal data
- Hosting and infrastructure: Google Cloud / Firebase Hosting (Google). As servers may be located abroad, this transfer is carried out under the safeguards set out in KVKK Art. 9 and related secondary legislation.
- Email service: the email provider used to reply to your request.
- Authorised public institutions: only where legally required and limited to the requested scope.
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes. We do not combine it with data from HaloScape's other products (including health applications).
5. How data is collected
Your personal data is collected electronically, partly by automated means, when you fill in the contact form on the site and when you visit it.
This site does not use cookie-based analytics or advertising tracking. Only the technical data strictly necessary for the site to function is processed in your browser.
6. Retention period
Data related to your request is kept for at most 2 years after the request is closed; if a service agreement is established, it is kept for the duration of that relationship and any legal retention periods. Server access logs are kept for the infrastructure provider's standard period. Once the period expires, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymised.
7. Your rights under KVKK Article 11
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request information about it if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, domestically or abroad,
- Request correction if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- Request its deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7,
- Request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties it was transferred to,
- Object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis exclusively via automated systems,
- Request compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
You may submit requests regarding your rights in writing, in accordance with the Communiqué on Application Procedures and Principles to the Data Controller, or to the email address below, together with information verifying your identity. Your request will be concluded free of charge, as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature; if the process requires an additional cost, a fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board's tariff may be charged.

9. If you use the HaloHerd product
This notice covers only the marketing website and its contact form. When the HaloHerd farm management panel is used, personal data relating to farm owner, veterinarian and caretaker accounts is processed under a separate privacy notice and data processing agreement provided with the service contract. The farm is the data controller for its own staff's data.
